We take care of our diet, exercise, water intake and sleep. Yet we pay less attention to indoor spaces, even though we spend much of our lives in them.
BIOW starts with a simple idea: **to act on the space where we rest**. It does not replace healthy habits or medical care; it **adds another variable to everyday wellbeing**: the environment we breathe in while we sleep.
The system and technology
BIOW is designed primarily for use **during sleep**. Its technology is based on the controlled generation of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) to **act on the breathing environment**.
The exposome encompasses the environmental and personal factors—from our surroundings to our habits—to which we are exposed throughout life and which interact with our biology.
BIOW acts on one specific area: it **modulates the exposome of the breathable air** in the space we occupy.
BIOW calls the resulting space the Cámara Bioenergética Antioxidante (Antioxidant Bioenergetic Chamber).
BIOW is not a medicine or medical device and is not intended for therapeutic or curative purposes.
How it works
BIOW combines **three technological processes** that work together on **the space we occupy and the air we breathe**.
Indoor air may contain **ultrafine particles**, **biological agents** and **invisible pollutants** to which we are exposed for hours while we sleep. BIOW is designed to continuously reduce this **environmental burden**—including that associated with **nanotoxicity**—helping create a **cleaner indoor environment**.
BIOW generates **cold atmospheric plasma** in a controlled way, creating what it calls the **Cámara Bioenergética Antioxidante** (Antioxidant Bioenergetic Chamber) in the sleeping area.
**E-OX** projects a **continuous flow of activated air** towards the sleeping area, concentrating its action within the **breathing space** around people while they sleep.
Designed for rest
E-OX is designed primarily for use **during sleep**. It is placed beside the bed, and its mobile base makes it easy to **adjust its position** to the available space.
Its screen lets you select the different operating modes and view the active settings.

Ways to use BIOW
BIOW can be adapted to different situations and needs. BIOW documentation distinguishes three levels of use:

This is its main use during sleep. The system offers **three modes—Field, Sea and Mountain—**with different settings adapted to the **breathing environment** at night.

At closer range, BIOW includes specific functions such as **Plasma Bath**, **Red Light** and **Green Light**, as well as the **ACA** system. These functions can be used for specific purposes according to the user’s needs and in line with BIOW’s recommendations.

**Focus** concentrates BIOW technology on a specific area, complementing the main system with a localised application.
AirMined explains each mode and supports users in operating the system in accordance with BIOW guidance.

Focus brings BIOW technology to a more localised application, concentrating it on a specific area.
It is used with the E-OX Central Unit base and complements BIOW’s main use during sleep.

How it relates to the body
During sleep, the body maintains **essential processes of regulation, recovery and cellular renewal**.
